Located on Linmei Mountain, at 270 meters above sea level, Chiau Sih Golf Club provides 18 holes and 72 standard pars with a fairway length of 6800 yards, making it one of the golf courses to be used for the 2017 National Games in Yilan. With the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, Guishan Island and Lanyang Plain to the East, the Hsueh-shan Mountain Range to the West, and Wufengchi Waterfall to the North, Chiau Sih Golf Club boasts beautiful scenery. Located in the northeast corner of Taiwan, Chiau Sih Golf Club experiences more rain, but the mountain to the North blocks the Northeast Monsoon, making it a secluded place. Many players love to visit here in summer to enjoy the breeze; in winter, lots of migratory birds from the North settle on Nannan Lake, making it another scene for guests to appreciate.
After the Hsuehshan Tunnel opened, it now takes only 40 minutes to travel from Neihu, Nangang, and Xizhi, as well as from Taipei 101; it takes about 90 minutes to travel here from Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport.
